When The Jewels Inspire You...OOTD

How have you been? Hopefully amazing! 

I am a sucker for big, chunky, gaudy, statement jewelry. From necklaces to rings, rhinestones to gold...I LOVE IT ALL!! 

I built an ensemble around this beautiful necklace that I had picked up from one of my favorite accessory shops here in Vegas. It has a very tribal feel with the beading and bold colors that scream summer.

Isn't she lovely??

Anywho, I decided that I would wear this piece with light pastel green top, black fitted skirt, and black & gold belt.

#WINNING!!!

So a little over a month ago I had an epiphany. Without a doubt I love myself and love who I am. I just felt that it was time to become an even better and healthier Ciara. I've struggled with that ever present battle of weightloss for many years, and I always said that the only way that anything would truely work is when I'm actually ready for it, the change.

On a trip back to my hometown in Washington State I decided to tag along with my mom, aunt and bestie to their Weight Watchers meeting. After sitting in the meeting I was encouraged to make that step and sign up. When I got back to Vegas I was so excited to start this journey, a journey that was well overdue. Then it happend, Saturday June 1st marks my first 10 lbs. GONE! I'm not going to lie it's been difficult. Working out 5-6 times a week and with working a full-time and a part-time job and plus school has its challenges, but I'm doing it and it feels Ohhh Sooo Good!!! I'll definitely keep you updated on this journey to a new sparkly me!

Shades Of Summer

Hello Beautés...

Happy Sunday!! I hope every one's had an amazingly blessed day and weekend!! Mine was FAB, did some relaxing, shopping and DIY projects. I finally got a Sunday off from working, so headed to Sunday Service. I wore a kimono style dress that I snagged from Avenue last Spring/Summer. I absolutely love all the vibrant and eye-catching bold colors that this piece has. I really like the accessories that Avenue have to offer so, I paired the dress with a silver chain necklace, cocktail ring and silver button earrings. For shoes I chose purple suede kitten heels. Tell me what you think!
